Diarna El Gouna is once again transforming Downtown El Gouna into a Christmas hub for Egyptian crafts, running from December 25th, 2025 until January 2nd, 2026 under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, in partnership with Sawiris Foundation and El Gouna. This festive edition highlights Egypt’s heritage through handmade creations, cultural experiences, and interactive moments for the whole family.
Visitors will discover unique handicrafts, live cultural showcases, and engaging family-friendly activities, including a dedicated Kids’ Corner curated by Fagnoon. With more than 60 artisans travelling from different corners of Egypt, every purchase becomes a meaningful gift that supports sustainable, eco-conscious production and local communities.
Atmosphere and concept
The exhibition invites guests to explore pieces that blend traditional techniques with contemporary design, offering home décor, accessories, textiles, and wearable art that tell stories from across Egypt. A warm Christmas ambiance, sparkling lights, and lively programming turn Downtown El Gouna into a vibrant meeting point for art, heritage, and community spirit.
Families can spend the afternoon discovering crafts and the evening enjoying the festive mood, with the Kids’ Corner by Fagnoon adding extra color through creative workshops and hands-on activities. Diarna El Gouna builds on the national legacy of the Diarna Handicrafts and Heritage Exhibition, which champions local artisans and promotes responsible, sustainable consumption.
